McConnell House
The McConnell house of 1967 is just next door to the
Dammann I
residence in West Boulder.
A site with a spectacular view of the city below, and the mountains to the
north and south. The living
room
cantilevers
over the hill on a
foundation of white stucco,
giving the house a hovering feeling. The
living room features a fireplace set at the point of the overhang,
with a glass ceiling extension at the
tip. The
wood ceiling
radiates like a leaf over the main floor.
